                       SEQUENTIAL LISTING OF SIGNIFICANT EVENTS




  31-1 January        Advanced party for the Battalion moved forward to positions
                      abeam AL-Miobab facilities.

  1-2 January         Battalion completes movement of line companies and
                      headquarters elements to the new position abeam Al-Mishab.
                      Logistics train assets to complete the move of all supplies
                      forward in the next two days.

    January           Coordination was made to conduct cross-training with the
                      Saudi forces east of our TAOR. The Battalion's NGF section
                      conducted a liaison trip aboard the battleship USS Wisconsin
                      off Bahrain.


  4 January           India Company conducted cross-training with Saudi forces.
                      Battalion staff members conducted a liaison with Quatari
                      forces to our front and on our flanks. Battalion staff
                      members began staff planning for helo cps at TF TARO COC.
                      Heavy equipment arrived to assist in improvement of our
                      defensive positions.

    January           Heavy equipment continued to improve our defensive
                      positions. Battalion staff planning cell continued to work
                      on helo ops. India Company continued cross-training, with
                      Saudi forces.

  6 January           Battalion staff, Lima, and Kilo Company co-planned and
                    ,,prepared for inserting a blockin.g force in support of a helo
                      raid on Al-Kabrit airfield by 1/3* Liaison was made with the
                      Quatari observers. India Company continued to cross-train
                      with Saudi forces.

    January           NBC decontamination sites were established. Battalion
    forward CP, Kilo, and Lima Companies participated in the
                      blocking force in support of 113's raid on Al Kabrit
                      airfield. Six Quatari observers accompanied our forces. Lima
                      Company was put on standby for a possible mission to TRAP
                      two Hip helicopters that were among six that defected from
                      the Iraqi forces. India Company continued cross-training
                      with Saudi forces.

    January           Battalion staff attended a debrief of the he        op at 1
                      Kabrit. The two Hips were flown to Al Mishab by Saudi
                      forces. Kilo Company traveled to DSA for phonecalls, PX run,
                      and administration work. India Company continued cross-
                      training with Saudi forces.

    January           India Company, Kilo Company, and STA platoon conducted
                      helicopter embark and debark training with HMH-465. Lima
                      Company traveled to DSA for phonecalls, PX run, and
