          TAB C (NBC Threat Conditions) to Appendix 2 (NBC Defense) to
          Annex C (Operations) to Operation Order 1-91, Operation DESERT
          STORM


          Ref: (a) FM 3-100

          1. (U) General


                  a. (U) NBC Warnings and Reporting. NBC warning and
          reporting is separated into 2 categories. NBC warning
          encompasses alert conditions which indicate the probability of
          an NBC attack. NBC reporting covers the types and formats of
          specific NBC messages which are generated once an NBC attack
          has occurred.


                      (1) (U) NBC Warninos


                           (a) (U) NBC Threat condition white. NBC attack
          is unlikely. Recommend MOPP Level Zero.

                           (b) (U) NBC Threat condition yellow. NBC
          attack is possible. Enemy has shown indications of NBC
          activity. Recommend MOPP Level Zero plus or MOPP Level 1.

                           (c) (U) NBC Threat condition Red. NBC attack
          is imminent or underway. Enemy is getting ready to fire or has
          fired NBC weapons.   Recommend MOP? Level 4.

                      (2) (U) NBC Rei)orting

                           (a) (U) NBC-1 report. The report submitted by
          the observers of an  NBC attack.


                           (b) (U) NBC-2 Report. The report used by the
          NBC control center to compile and evaluate data collected from
          one or more NBC-1 reports.

                           (c!) (U) NBC-3 Report. The report used by the
          NBC control center to pass evaluated data concerning the
          location and type of NBC attack to higher, adjacent and lower
          commands.


 NEC-4 Report. The report submitted by
          the NBC Moniter/Survey Team to indicate exact locations of NBC
          contamination.


                           (a) (U) NBC-5 Report. The report used by the
          NBC control center to report evaluated data concerning the
