Remarkably, the Battalion suffered NO battlefield casual-
ties. The BAS was well prepared and capable of receiving combat
casualties throughout the ground offensive. This high state of
readiness continued a tradition of excellence at the 3/12 E3AS.
The Medical department has conducted its post deployment
duties which included returning medical Supplies and narcotics to
eting medical records accoun-
tablity, updating and resupplying the 60-day operating stock and
completing the after action report for 3rd Marine Division. A15o
a large personnel changeover took place during which the 3/12 BAS
welcomed a new SMOR and a new LPO. Throughout the post deployment
period the BAS continued to provide prompt and professional medi-
cal care to the Marines and sailors of the Battalion.
