           Appendix I (Enemy Prisoners of War) to Annex E (Personnel) to
                      Operation Order 1-91 (Operation DESERT STORM)

           1.  SITUATION


               a.  Enemy Forces. (Refer to Annex 8 (Intelligence)).

               b.  Friendly Forces. (See Paragraph 1 of Basic Order).

               C.  Attachments and Detachments. (See Annex A (Task
                   Organization)).

           2.  MISSION


               6th Marines(-)(Rein), supported by Military Police (MP),
               ITT, and CI assets will collect, process, protect'.
               interrogate, and transport Enemy Prisoners of War (EPWs).

           3. EXECUTION


               a.  Concept of Operations. During the initial breaching
                   phase of the operation, MP/CAG assets will establish
                   temporary holding areas where EPWs taken during that
                   phase will be collected. In other phases of the
                   operation, MP/CAG assets will establish Regimental
                   Collection Points. Units will move EPWs and Dislocated
                   Civilians (DCs) to the Collection Point. Detainees (EPWs
                   and DCs) will be moved via the soonest available
                   transportation to the Division holding area. MP/CAG
                   a;sets will operate the Regimental Collection Points
                   where PPwq will hp hold for orocessina and D!Ck-UD for
                   further transfer by Division MP units.

               b. Tasks


                   (1)  3d Plat, MP Co. During the breaching phase of the
                        operation, establish and operate temporary holding
                        areas, if required, for EPWs captured by maneuvering
                        battalions and hold them there until turned over to
                        Division MP assets. During other phases of the
                        operation, establish and operate Reyimental
                        Collection Points, arrange transport from Division
                        MP assets, and hold EPWs until transfer is arranged.

                   (2)  Detachment 4-1, 4th CAG. Assi3t the 3d Plat, MP Co,

                        in executing all aspects Of the EPW mission.
                        Identify and separate Dislocated Civilians (DCs) and
                        assume primary responsibility for their processing
                        and transportation to Division. Maintain a Watch
                        Officer at the S-1 to coordinate EPW operations.
