This net will be monitored constantly by the
Regimental Collection Point and EPW Watch OfEic.er.
(7) The units will contact this Headquarters (S-2),
indicating the number and type of detainees (EPWs or
DCs) (indicate if any are female), number and types
of weapons and equipment, any special weapons or
equipment, any medical problems, and other pertinent
information. Units will be notified of the
Regimental Collection Point to be used via, the
Regimental Intel net or other secure means. Units
inform this Headquarters (S-2) of the Battalion
Collection Point's location each time it changes via
the Regimental Intel net, or other secure means. if
the collection point is PLRS equipped, the station
name should be provided, as well as recommendations
for approach and evacuation routes.
(8) Captured weapons and equipment are collected and
maintained in an area separate from the EPWs. These
items will be transported to the Regimental
Collection Point, if possible. Special weapons and
equipment will be transferred with the individual
EPW from whom they are recovered. This Headquarters

weapons or equipment by the CAG EPW Watch Officer.
(9) EPWs are identified with a completed EPW tag
attached to the individual. If the tactical
situation 'does not allow time to complete the
tagging process, the capture tag will include at the
least the date, time, and place of capture, and
identify the capturing unit. If weveral EPWs are
captured at the same time, one t2q, -Zy _@-_ r.-,.,
the group; Members of the group must be identified
in some indelible manner (ink marker on the hand,
for example). Tags will be either tied to the
individual EPW, or placed in the lett breast pocket.
(10) EPWs should be blindfolded (a double-folded sandbag
over the head is recommended), and their hands
bound at capture.
