          1. GENERAL


               a. Purpgng. Per the references, provide guidance on medical
          issues, Navy-specific administrative issues and other related topics
          prior to the redeployment of the Division to CONUS during Phases ir
          and III of the MARCENT/I MEF redeployment.

               b. Applicability. See ANNEX A.

                      Obj@ctives

                      (1) Expedite closure on all Navy administrative and
          personnel issues, including release from active duty and separation
          physical examinations.

                      (2) Coordinate medical issues, including minimal
          requirements at the reporting unit level and health service support
          from FSSG.


                      (3) Clarify Class VIII issues.

                      (4) Clarify issues relating to NBC medicants.

          2. NA Y_ADMT 4I 3T ZA IVE ISSUES
                 Y      KCIL-i  ----------

               a.     In general, all Navy personnel assigned to 2d Marine
          Division    should anticipate accompanying the unit to which they are
          assigned    during redeployment. To ensure accountability for
          personnel prior to departing country, all units should register with
          the Navy Personnel Section of the Division Surgeon's Office with an
          updated roster of all Navy personnel assigned/attached to the unit.

               b. Units should submit updated rosters of Navy personnel and
          anticipated unit redeployment date to the I MEF Navy Personnel
          Office (Camp 5) at earliest opportunity. (Maintain daily liaison
          with unit S-1 and S-3 for updated redeployment and TPFDD
          information.) The I MEF Navy Personnel Office will prepare Service
          Records, including appropriate Page 13 entries. Just prior to
