Additionally since your last brief, sir, one thing I
neglected to mention, the ist Cav Division has been given a
warning order to move from Corps Reserve down in the southernmost
portion of the XVIII Airborne section to an assembly here, and
movement commenced on the 22nd. They will chop from Corps
Reserve to XVIII Airborne Corps, so that move is underway now.

COL STEED: morning, sir. I have nothing this morning.

GEN BOOKER: I put some notes on the plan for the movement of the
   CP, inside the plans.

   COL STEED: All right.

COL LIST: Sir, I received information over the phone that, from
the CINC staff, MODA has approved our construction project at
Mishab airfield and the contract will be signed on the 26th, with
   occupancy by 15 January.

CAPT JOHNSON: There's a site visit today.

   GEN BOOMER: Good.

COL LIST: I have coordinated with Gen Brabham and the G-4 staff
will brief and take Gen Winglass from tomorrow afternoon from 14
to 1800, covering logistics topics as part of his itinerary.

We met with the Royal Commission yesterday, sir, and
requested they reconsider our use of the camp -- what I call Camp
   7. It's the improved area over here in the northwest corner, it
has all the utilities already in place. We have specifically
asked for 150,000 square meters for a installation of a fleet
hospital, and they did not say no, they appear to be favorably
inclined that way; and we are going to continue to pursue that.

Finally, we have received our first shipment of 142,000
pounds of rice, which equates to 15 days of supply for 40,000
POWs. We expect a similar quantity of beans to be delivered.
                        6

GEN BOOMER: I like rice and beans. Maybe we will eat it.

2D DIV: We have some A-rats we will trade, too.

COL LIST: That's all I have, sir.

LTCOL BRUNN: Morning, sir. Just a reminder for everyone, with
the Christmas holidays we are going to have a lot of people
wandering through the area. Make sure your classified material
and sit maps are appropriately marked and covered when you have
personnel wandering through the area or you have to leave. Also
during the Christmas season it is a vulnerable period, so keep an
eye out for any suspicious activity; and if you see it, report it
to security and the COC. That's all, sir.

GEN BOOMER: Let me back up to the G-4. I mentioned this to Gen
