                  addressed. T/0's for 140C officers (5702) and Enlisted
                  specialists (5711) are gro@sly inadequate to support large sca)-
                  decon.

                         bulk of this problerby forming a "Provisional
                         Decontamination Platoon", which will be in general support
                         of the Division. This Platoon was formed by augmenting the
                         existing Division )iBd'Platoon (5711's) with Marines from
                         different units wi:thi:h"the Division. Total strength 1
                         Off/60 Eni. Training commenced 7 Oct 90.

               C.        When will prqgrammed-decon assets close?

                         1) Unknown.

                         1) Decon units,wilil be formed and trained by I Nov 90.
                         2) To date most.'BattAlions have exercised their Hasty
                         Decontamination procedures. The only problem encountered
                         is the shortage of equipment stated above.
