          2 -   Food Services resumes serving three hot meals daily, while
                beginning to serve MRE's for lunch on Sundays and
                Wednesdays, again due to resupply problems.
          3 -   First dental case was an open reduction of a left zygonatic
                arch.

          4 -   Food order was dropped to Naval Supply Depot, Subic Bay,
                Philippines for 30 days for semi-perishable foods. Alameda
                FHSO decides to send automatic 30 day resupply priority two.
          4 -   First EKG machine arrives and is placed in the custody of
                Capt. Bottomy.

          5 -   Lcdr, Cdr and Capt frocking ceremony is conducted by RADM
                Sutton, COMUSNAVLOGSUPFOR.

          5 -   First Muslim service is conducted.

          6 -   SeaBees completed tables, benches and weight equipment for
                use in Morale, Welfare and Recreation area.

          6 -   First Seventh Day Adventist service is conducted.

          9 -   First Command Master chief screening mast was conducted.

          10 -  Food resupply from the U.S. Air Force was accomplished at a
                cost of $ 158,551.00.

          12 -  First command awards ceremony was conducted.

          13 -  First Episcopal service is held at lst MEF headquarters.

          13 -  The first Saudi national is examined in Radiology.

          14 -  First Baptism is performed by chaplain Daniel Shepard.
          14 -  Landing of the first Marine Corps Sea Knight Helicopter.

          14 -  The first cook-out is held at FH5 to celebrate the Navy
                birthday. A 5K run, IM walk and volley ball tournament are
                held. LTGEN Booiaer, Commander, First MEF was guest speaker,
                also held Generalls Call.

          14 -  First Latter Day Saints service is conducted.

          15 -  Rear Admiral Loftus, OP-04, visited FH5.
