         Protected Rigid Wall ISO's (U)

         1.             Lki ement: In order to sustain treatment of
         Casualties in a chemically-biologically contaminated environment
         CB protected rigid wall ISOs will be required..

         3.         Surge Capabilities:


              a. (U) Current Program: The ISO hardening effort will
         require three component items. CB resistant gas@..ets ($5,000 ea),
         a hardened ECU C-lo(-.) ($12,0t)O modification) and a M2C) filter
         blower system ($2,000 ea). CB hardening efforts for the gasl@.ets
         and the ECLJ C-IC)C) are in advance research and development. $57-OK
         will be required in order to complete R&D efforts. An additional
         six months will be required to complete R&D on the gas@-:ets and
         the ECU C-10C).

         concepts is required to ensure performance with DEPMEDS
         equipment. The risl.. for- surging is considered low to moderate.

         6. (U) LogiStiCS/SLkStainment Impact: The CB protected CIOO
         will replace existing hardware. Modifications Must be completed
         at Depot level.
