         SUBJECT: Minutes of the Desert Shield Biological Warfare
         Working Group


         1. At 210900 December 1990, Subject group met in Room 691
         Skyline  6, Falls Church, Virginia. The following individu
         were in  attendance.

         2.       The minutes of the 7 December 1990 meeting were
         reviewed and the following corrections were made:

             a. Paragraph le, issue 3. Delete the words "Botulism
         LTC McKee asked about antibiotic resistant anthrax and not
         botulism.

             b. Paragraph 2a. Change the first sentence to read
         "Volunteers are available to augment the Navy lab." No
         volunteers are presently augmenting the lab. Change the 2:
         sentence to read 11 ... and will complete USAMRIID training

             C. Paragraph 2c. Delete the first two words "Lab
         forward." Also delete the last sentence.

         3. -@Q@ Medical Intelligence Update. COL Tomlinson repor
         that plague is not considered to be a biological warfare
