         MANPOWER AND FORCE STRUCTURE PEG:

             a. Plan for a cost effective health care system with
         AMEDD end strength reflective of wartime requirements and
         peacetime cost-effective staffing. Structure should be
         proportionate to total beneficiary reduction. Maintain
         critical medical research and development and medical
         training programs.

             b. Insure that AMEDD structure reflects Medical Force
         2000 recruirements and a balance between total f-orce
         assigned missions.


             C. Convert AMEDD warrant officer structure to
         commissioned officer structure to reflect commissioning of
         Physician assistants.

             d. Develop patient decontamination teams for division
         and corps level medical units to enhance soldier survival
         on the chemical, biological and nuclear battlefield.
