             6. (U)  DISCUSSION: There is a need for a corlmprehensive field
             manual  that could be used as a template for Field Nursing.
             Areas to be covered would include: a. diseases and conditions
             not frequently seen (malnutrition, diseases of the third world)
             b. Mobilization Checklist, c. Field Sanitation Overviewt
             d. Cultural overview, and e. Ene-ay Prisoners of War Care.
             7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: P@ovide the template with generic
             infromation for all deployments with the ability to add
             information as the situation develops.

             8. (U) RECO,      ED ACTION: Development of the manual can be
             done by the Academy of Health Sciences in coordination with
             DEPMEDS training.
