           1. At 140900 March 1991, Subject group met in Room 535,
           Skyline 5, Falls Church, Virginia. The following indivi
           were in attendance.

           and approved as written.

           4.       Availability of Vaccine.

               a. COL Bancroft reported the renovations at three o
           BW production facilities (i.e., NCI, USAMRIID and Michig       -e
           on schedule. The proposed contract with Lederle-Praxis         Le
           production of anthrax vaccine has not been signed due to
           issues associated with liability.

               b. In coordination with the CENTCOM Surgeon's Offic
           committee recommended the last two approved lots of anth                  m
           vaccine, as well as all future lots, and the
           botulinum antitoxin recently delivered to USAMRIID be st       Lt
           USAMRIID and not shipped to theater. Following the cess
           of hostilities, the vaccination of military personnel in
    theater was halted.
