       PURPOSE: To assign U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command as
       the lead agent for a Tri-Service Task Force in accordance with enclosed
       memorandum and verbal instructions from Dr. Mendez.

       DISCUSSION: Staff officer representing the office of The Surgeon Genera2
       will be appointed to serve as liaison to the Task Force.


       RECOMMENDATION: TSG sign memorandum assigning MED R&D with above task.

       Return to SGPS-PSP for duplication and dispatch.
