	b. We obtained a serviceable television camera from the fire department, and a  
portable storage shed (not assembled) from Disaster Preparedness. A shipment of wet  
weather boots, tent stakes, and other minor items was received from the SP unit  
closing down at Comiso. 
 
	c. Desert Shield Support: 
 
		(1) Thirty sleeping bags were turned in to base supply for shipment down 
range. 
 
		(2) A shotgun mount was installed in one LE sedan, and a second will be  
installed in now that the vehicles are in use again. Two LE patrols will carry a  
shotgun until further notice. 
 
		(3) Two handouts showing US and local ID cards were distributed to facili- 
ties for use by ID checkers. 
 
		(4) The TDY to Italy was canceled. 
 
		(5) The pilot referred to in the 22 Jan report has returned from downrange 
and the revolver returned to SPS. 
 
		(6) The number of augmentees working with SPS was reduced to ten, five each  
from CAMS and CSG (we are short one from CSG). 
 
		(7) Security sweeps of open areas of the airfield started this week. We 
found one three foot high culvert leading under the taxiway that wasn't barred, 
several openable access hatches into other drainage systems capable of holding peo- 
ple, and a large concrete structure under the gravel storage area between the run- 
ways. CE will grill the culvert, spot weld the drain covers, and bury the structure 
near the gravel pile. 
 
5. FAMILY SUPPORT: 
 
	a. Contact was made with SMSgt Davis at Incirlik AB, Turkey, CBPO. Requested he 
send orders for the four family members who are 1(b)(6)1 (FAX # 
was given.) 
 
	b. Contact was made with four family members, there is still one more here who 
has not come in for assistance. Only one family has school age children.

	a. Major overhaul for unit #5 at Base Power Plant continues. Still awaiting 
notification from Contracting to pick-up the cylinder heads from the original con-
