- First worship service conducted on 7 Sep 90. 
 
- Created Bible study, prayer group, and discipleship classes in the fall. 
 
- Sponsored the "Better Than a Letter" program which allowed our personnel 
to video tape messages to their loved ones. 
 
- Put on Christmas Eve Cantata and candle light service. 
 
COMMUNICATIONS 
 
- Responsible for installing and maintaining 270 telephones, released 
over 43,000 messages, and the control tower controlled over 34,000 aircraft. 
 
- TACAN was commissioned with USAF flight check on 1 Nov 90. 
 
- Extensive communication installed to beddown the 69 TFS and 1713 ARW on 9 Jan 91. 
 
- Secure phone capability doubled in WOC/SRC on 18 Jan 91. 
 
AIR BASE OPERABILITY (ABO)
 
- Developed a time-phased plan for ABO action/funding priorities with the 
host nation. CENTAF used this plan as the theater "model."

- The chemical warfare defense program identified and solved 
equipment shortages and readiness problems for 2700 personnel, ensuring individual 
protective equipment was 100% mission ready. 
 
- The chemical warfare defense program managed a camouflage, concealment,
deception program valued at over $2.5 million. 
 
- Explosive Ordnance Disposal field office was often showcased during 
distinguished visitor tours to include General Schwartzkopf, Lieutenant 
General Homer, Major General Olsen, and the Assistant Deputy to the UAE 
Ministry of Defense. 
 
- Explosive Ordnance Disposal performed superbly during 12,000 
wartime munitions deliveries--No weapons accidents and no loss of property
for the 14 incidents where they rendered assistance.
