File: aabav_04.txtCIVIL ENGINEERING 388th Combat Support Group (PROVISlONAL) Significant Accomplishments -Successful. initial beddown of Tactical Fighter Wing and 1650 personnel with minimal manpower and resources from 2 Sep to 12 Dec l990' -- Tent city included siting and installation of 80 billeting tents with air-conditioning and wooden floor. an electrical power plant with three 750 KW generator plant, and an electrical distribution system . --Completed officer billeting facilities. including an additional 20. portacabins units with water and electricity -- Constructed Petroleum Oil and lubricant (POL) fuel facilities with [(b)(5)] and birms at tour locations -- Out of barren desert, constructed two munition. storage areas with hardened storage pads, roads, and berm for [(b)(5)] munitions in minimal time --Installed three reverse Osmosis water Purification Units (ROWPUs) producing over 70,000 gallons of purified water per day -- Installed over 200 personnel bunker -- Bedded down 250 bed Air Transportable Hospital (ATH) complete with concrete floor, electricity, generator backup, and water supply. -- Installed 77 portacabins and 29 tents for Aircraft Operations, Maintenance and Combat Support Group. -- Served as interim Services Squadron commander during initial weeks of deployment, improving food service and laundry operations -- Installed and certified Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) on the primary active runway -- Constructed an F-16 tie down trim pad -- Constructed Civil Engineering operations complex -- Fully integrated US and Host Nation forces in the areas of facility engineering and fire protection - Successful beddown of the 68th Tactical Fighter Squadron and the 1713th Air Refueling Wing, 13 Dec 90 to 15 Jan 91 -- Constructed two additional tent cities and increased total tents installed to 223 tents ,
