This portion will contain a recap of past weather conditions covering the period that the unit has been without comm. In this case - 24hrs. be detail of this text will vary. Greater emphasis will be placed on operationally significant weather, while "clear and blue conditions" will receive less notice. This Section includes a synoptic discussion of past events along with observed conditions that occurred over the whole theater. Basically, a recap of what happened, why it did, and where it occurred. PART II: CURRENT A. This section will present the current synoptic situation along with actual conditions occurring across the theater. Emphasis will be placed on the AO. B. This section will list all warnings/advisories valid for anywhere in the theater, irregardless of what agency issued them. III: FORECAST Extended prog out to 48hrs. This will cover not only the synoptic situation but also expected conditions. PART IV: POINT FORECAST The section will be a detailed forecast for the unit's current location. Will include aviation parameters. PART V : UNIT LOCATIONS This will be a list of observing (Army) sites, using UTM's. This attachment is totally unclassified: Portion markings are not required.
