0212 BCE - think 12 AD is in the VEZ (AE6) and are awaiting
JSTARS to check area. Basically the same info as we already had.
Col Reavey told BCE rep that he should keep passing on their info
to JSTARS guys so they'll be able to focus attention on it. Gen
Glosson suggested we put F-15Es on there if we have them. Col
Harr said we'll have constant air in the area. (We did launch
two F-15E two-ships and diverted them from the BEZ to the VEZ.
Unfortunately, these assets loitered in the VEZ far beyond their
scheduled working time and as a result an unknown number of F-111
aircraft could not get clearance to proceed to their target
area.)

0216 Gen Glosson looking at AGO for a definitive initial
point to send crews to. Information provided to the table
concerned enemy vehicles parked along road in a semicircular
fashion. Also T-72 tanks were headed SE with MRLs in front of
tanks in area AF6. Capt Wittenberg (USN) suggested CBUs to fill
revetments up.

0238 14 Corps FSCL moved up

- F-15Es going to VEZ (AE6) will work SE corner of VEZ, So the
BEZ will be stolen to be used in VEZ - First TOT 0000Z. Navy
will strike the area till about 0130Z.

0245 hrs - Thus far AE6 BDA consisted of 6 armored killed and
two damaged.

Gen Glosson noted 14 KIA in MARCENT. He said he got these
figures when he overheard a conversation with marines and the
CINC or Vice CINC.

0253 Gen Glosson asked Col Reavey if A-10s would be the best
air asset to use when the sun came up in AE6. Col Reavey agreed
that he'd send in A-10s.
