                   (2)       Aviation parts resupply is still a critical
         issue. Still   aggressively working the problems. (G4)

                   (3)       Short 84 ANAVS-6, 142 GPS systems, and 365
         PRC-90s. (G4)

                   (4)       No definite conclusions on the HELLFIRE
         problem yet. BDE Commander is personally working this issue with
         tech reps and  PM Apache personnel. (Corps AVN)

                   (5)       CH-47 hardstand is critical for llth AVN BDE
         movement  to FAA. Cannot continue to support from the sand with
         CH-47's. Need help. (G3, ACE)

              H.   (U) 7TH ENG.

                   (1)       Elements of 131st CSE Company are ready to
         move out  of port.  Need transportation assets to move key
         engineer  equipment forward. (G4)

                   (2)       Critical shortages of bangalore torpedoes and
         .50 cal ammunition  keeping class V rating at amber. (G4)

              I.        TF 8-43 ADA. Lack of TIBS continues to be a
         concern. This inhibits ability to provide early warning or
         conduct threat analysis. Request positioning of TIBS in the Task
         Force as soon as possible. (G4)

              J. (U) 93 SIG BDE.

                   (1)       Continued critical shortage of repairable CE
         Line Replaceable Units (LRUS) is putting our pacing items at
         risk. There is little in country repair and no evacuation
         channel established to activities that perform repair. The CECOM
         NICP reports critical shortages of LRUs due to the non return of
         repairables. CINCUSAREUR has stated support for Desert Shield
         must be tasked by DA. The Pirmasens Special Activity repairs
         most of VII Corps CE repairable LRUs and has excess repair
end ARCENT formally
         request support through CENTCOM to DA. Need support now. (G6)

                   (2)       Shortage of WF-16 telephone cable: The
         Brigade informed the 30th Sup Gp and 7th Personnel Gp today (4
         FEB) that their requirements for additional phones cannot be
         supported because of a lack of cable. Effective 4 Feb, no
         additional phones in Log Base Echo can be installed because of
         lack of cable. Additional requirements for phones supporting
