                       (1)   The issue  of night vision and navigation     devices
              needs to be   resolved for the engineer units that support the
              maneuver  unilts. Engineer combat capabilities are diminished
              without these devices.

              fest tent or similar sized tent is necessary for the quantity of
              maps required by Corps@

                       (3) Topographic survey teams will conduct survey control
              north of Log Base Echo from 27-29 Jan.These surveys are done at
              night. Request local security for the teams

                       (4) Late arriving engineer units will require priority
              transportation assets to move equipment forward to the FAAs and
              beyond to support the engineer effort.
