            1. Daily Corps SITREP.

                a. Situation. Brigade assets currently committed to
            enplacing obstacle system and fighting positions for 1.5t Cavo4ry
            Division VIC Al Quaysumah.

                b. Operations/Trg., Projects currently on hold until
            released from Ist Cat(@ry Division missions. Units have received
            mine/countermine training from US Army Engineers School Mine
            Warfare expert.

                h. Problem Requiring Corps Assistance.

                    (1) Standdown for equipment and operators required after
            FRAGO 34-91 mission. This will impact LOG BASE E and Corps
            Barrier Training Area missions.

                    (2) Communications with LOG BASE E units (RATT,
            nonsecure AM voice) very erratic. Need multichannel now to LOG
            BASE E to ensure command and control of group and to be able to
            respond quickly to Corps FRAGOS.

                    (3) We have received no response to the chemical issues
            raised over the past reports.
