                e. LTC Funderberg, IAD Chem, called and said his CG reported
            there was a way for the thermal sights to detect chemical vapors.
            COL Thornton said there was but you had to give up laser protection
            and the system required much training to use correctly; but, in
            theory, it will work.


                f. COL Thornton made the decision to send all 95 incoming CAMs
            to the Medical Bde.

                g.   ARCENT reportedly authorized the Engineers to pickup 35K
            barrels of fog oil for use a dust palliative. This later proved to
            be erroneous and no fog oil was drawn for this purpose.

                h.   MAJ Wagner, ARCENT, reported 78 Sanators were due in for
            VII Corps between 21 Feb and 3 Mar.     We requested that they be
            pushed to Log Base Echo.

            21 FEB 91:

                a. 3AD Fox link-up completed.

                b.   SGM Grosvenor ARCENT Chem, reported the ships with the
            Sanators were still at sea. No ETA.

                C.   LTC Huber, ICD Chen, reported 60% of his M256 kits were
            expired and wanted to know if we could get replacements. He had
            called the Chem School who stated the kits could not be extended.
            LTC Adams, 3AD Chem, also reported 60% of his M256 kits were also
            expired. 3AD total shortage was 2600 and ICD was short 115.

            22 FEB 91:

                a.   MAJ Allgoier, G-4 Rear, said there are 226 M256 kits on
            hand in Log Base Echo with 40 more due in. A total of 1250 were on
            order with no status. These had been released to 3AD.

                b.   Per SSG Pocaigue, ARCENT, 21,027 additional CPOGs were
            available at KKMC for VII Corps.

                C. G-2 provided a package of reports on the Chemical RPG round
            that had been collected.
