                     (2) Follow-on personnel would expand the marking of the
area to include engineer tape, barriers and NATO markers.

                     (3) The MPs would secure the area against traffic.

                     (4) Hasty decon sites would be marked using standard NATO
markers. This would be published in the next FRAGO to be the
            standard.

                C. LTC Hipp, LNO at ARCENT asked why we hadn't picked up the
last batch of suits at KKMC and why we still listed it in our
SITREP. G-4 confirmed we had enough to have 2 per soldier and
would take out the comment. The, suits would be picked up today.

                d. SFC Lazario, MOB CP, called and reported 11D was taking
anthrax pills and a botulism shot. They wanted to take theirs.
They were told they could use the same protective measures as IID.

                e. ARCENT Chem reported the CAMs were still not in country.
They also had no M256 kits to issue and for units to order them.

            24 FEB 91: G-Day (start of ground operations/attack)

                a. TAC reported that 181 CML Co had linked up with IID.

                b. 2d Chem Bn called with concerns over their move with 42d FA
Bde. The FA Bde may move before phase III is over. Would 2d Chem
leave early or wait? Told 2d Chem will go whenever 42d goes. The
TAC was notified to cut the FRAGO in time to make that happen.

                C. ARCENT TAC said not to use expired M256 kits. We would
get more whenever SUPCOM could find some. However, don't dispose
            of the old kits.

                d. CG made the decision for everyone forward of the LD to be
in MOPP-1 and taking PB Tablets, and everyone else in MOPP-0 with
no PB tablets. We were to reevaluate this every 12 hours for
hanges.

                c. Received several false reports of chemical weapons use and
chemical mines in the MARCENT sector.

                f. ARCENT Chem reported the ship with the M17 Sanators is in
the port and being unloaded. No estimate of delivery time.
