                g. Because of the short time of notification and the nearness
of the unit, the 323d Chem Co would go forward with 2d Chem Bn
instead of the 181st. IID would have 2 plts of 181 and the Rear
            would control the Co(-).

                h. False report of anthrax at Log Base Echo because dead sheep
and goats found near the road. The government had all dead animals
put by the road. This was not evidence of an attacks.

            25 FEB 91:

                a. Spot report from IAD: 3 soldiers in a Fox crew were
injured by some kind of ordnance. Fox not damaged. Crew replaced
and the Fox back in action.

                b. Calls from CPT Davis, ARCENT Chem, and MAJ Wolfe, DA-
DCSLOG, indicated 10,000 M256 kits were inbound by priority air
from USAREUR. MAJ Wolfe also said the old kit could be used. Its
only problem is a tendency to give false positive for nerve. There
is no reduced sensitivity for any test.

                C. Passed to Rear to build complete packages of CDE for
shipment to a battalion, a company or to a NBC unit. The material
is to be ready for airlift immediately. The Rear was to work with
the COSCOM SPO to have Class 11 and VIII both in the issue.
