All four soldiers were killed on Feb. 26, while serving
as part of the coalition forces in Southwest Asia.
Community members gathered to honor the soldiers and
offer support to the family members for their loss.
This poem is dedicated to the soldiers in C Co. 82 EN who
gave their lives in Desert Storm:
Our flag is flown at halt-mast
For our soldiers that have died,
They lost their lives in battle,
They pageed on with dignity and pride.
In a desert filled with sand
Through the days and nights
They left behind their loved ones,
Fighting for a country's rights.
We'll remember them in our hearts
Through all the days that come,
The men of Charlie Company
And their families that are home.
