                          0300: The brigade   is ordered to   begin NAPP tablet
                usage commencing at 0500 hours.
                          0312: The brigade is given the warning order to
                begin movement to the defensive sector north of Tapline
                Road commencing at 0600 hours.
                          0325. Authorization is given to issue ammunition
                to soldiers.
                          0600: Units move to TAA WENDY to recover all
                guard force personnel. Personnel were guarding equipment
                left behind when the brigade moved north to the defense in
                sector.
                          0900: The brigade TAC moves forward to the
                Tapline Road to control movement of the brigade battle
                task force.
                          1430: Lead elements of the brigade (TF 3-32)
                begins to cross Tapline Road.
                          1602: All combat elements of the brigade complete
                the crossing of Tapline Road.
                          1700: All manuever forces are closed on their new
                defensive sectors and begin.defensive priorities of work.

                       18 Jan
                          0505:  The brigade assumes MOPP level one.
                          0526:  The I)TAC directs MOPP level one based on
                increased SCUD   activity.
                          0911:  DTAC directs MOPP level zero.


                       19 Jan
                          1042:  DTAC directs NAPP tablet usage to halt.
                          2000:  FRAGO is issued to units, concerns movement
                of the 9th Syrian Armor Division across the brigade front.
                The brigade directs all units to pull back from defensive
                positions to tight laager positions. This will reduce
                possibilities of fratricide.
                          Pilferage of equipment left behind in TAR WENDY
                is discovered.


                      20 Jan
                          ,0504: Informed by the DTAC that movement of the
                Syrian 9th AD is put on hold.
                          1001: Informed by the DTAC that the Syrian 9th AD
                will not move for approximately 24 to 48 hours.
                          Equipment left behind in TAA WENDY is
                consolidated and a brigade guard force is established at
                the 1-82 FA AHA.
