                3.(U) KEYWORDS: Joint Operations

                4.(U) Title: Coordination with Adjacent Units

                5.(U) Observation: Assets not available in units were made
                available with very little coordination with adjacent units.
                6.(U) Discussion: Several units within the brigade were able to
                make use of equipment/resources provided by other units operating
                in the same area. This was especially true in the area of decon
                and detection. We were able to provide additional M8 Alarm
                coverage by tying into Airforce units at KKMC and Dhahran Airbase.
                We were also able to augment organic decon assets by piggybacking
                off co-located Marine and Airforce units equipped with M17 Light
                Weight Decon Apparatus.

                7.(U) Lessons Learned: Deficiencies caused by resource shortages
                can be mitigated by sharing resources with adjacent units.
