                 5.  (U) observation: The Bde S2 prepared Battlebooks prior to and
                 during the operation.

                 6. (U) Discussion:

                     a. (U) The preparation of the battlebooks was based on the
                 Bde Co=ander's area of priority: enemy air, tactical ballistic
                 missiles (TBM), ground, and early warning/electronic warfare. The
                 material compiled was obtained by various types of Intell reports
                 and multiple sources.
                     b. (U) The battlebooks served as a quick Intall reference.
                 The update of the material occurred at least monthly.
                     C. (U) The battlabooks were a basis for other intelligence
                 reference books compiled and distributed to the Bde subordinate
                 units.

                 7. (U) Lesson Learned. The battlebooks were helpful tools and
                 assisted in providing the subordinate unit quick reference and
                 compatibility of combat Intell.
                 8. (U) Recommended Actions:

                     a. (U) The Bde S2 continue to be responsible in preparing
                 the necessary Battlebooks in support of contingency operations.
                     b. (U) The subordinate units identify their corimander's
                 priorities and articulate those concerned areas to the Bdo S2 so
                 that the Bde S2 can best support with the needed information.
                 Tailor the reference books to a unit's specific mission.
