                2.   (U) Operation Desert Shield 90, Aug 90.

                3.   (U) Keywords: BDE S2, Redeployment.

                4.   (U) Title: Bdo S2 Receiving Station for Classified Material.

                5.   (U) Observation: The Bde S2 established a receiving station
                for  all classified material from redeployed units.

                6.   (U) Discussion: The advanced party that redeployed
                immediately after the cease-fire, identified two S2 personnel to
                establish the security and safeguard of classified material for
                all redeploying units. Upon notification of a unit redeploying,
                the S2 coordinated and manned a reception station at the
                airfield/airport at Ft. Bliss for all classified material being
                brought back from Saudi Arabia.

                7. (U) Lesson Learned. Good anticipated action for receiving
                classified material from redeploying units.
                8. (U) Recommended Actions: A reception station be part of the
                redeployment process for future deploynents/redeployments and Bde
                FTX'S.
