             AREAS WARRANTING REVIEW.

                        a. IOL's should be revised based on this experience
                        b. a decoder is needed to tell us what the nomenclature
             says we are getting

             WARD EQUIPMENT/SUPPLIES NEEDED AT SET UP TIME

                   a. all chart forms and paper supplies needed in any other Navy
             Hospital
                   b. doubled lock narcotic box called for in SOP
                   c. adequate and sturdy ward desks to provide work space,
             storage space and even narcotic locker.        wooden field desk is
             inadequate.
                   d. complete life Pak 6 monitor and defibrillator called for in
             each SOP not present.
                   e. Oxygen tanks for each crash ca-t with extra fct-
             transporting patients
                   f. improved straight line suction for clearing patient airway
                   g. hand washing facilities on each ward (floor plan shows
             sinks tl,at no long exist in fact.      SOP's speak to handwasbijia
             between each patient contact which i currently improbable
                   h. improved intermittent suction for NG tubes/
                   i6 reconsider packing all drugs and Iv's by expiration date in
             central ISO so that rotation would be practiced and economical
             allowing items to be rotated out to be used at a military facility
             to prevent loss/waste of dollars and restock with fresh supplies
                   j. MU14 placement and total number assigned to hospital should
             be reviewed.    Any area providing patient care including medical
             support wing should have its own MUM centrally located in the
             temper lent wing.   Infection Control practices and limited staffing
             make this a necessity and economical.
                   k. consider a follow-on ISO pack out of all high            tech
is would contribute towards providing best quality
             equipment and save funds now being spent on equipment that is in
             storage for 4-8 years before use and is obsolete at the time of us.
             Also would discourage contractor from shaving quality and quantity
             of equipment orde!ed which they now know will be paid for years
             before it is used.
