                     a. MUM per Ward
                     b.   handwashing     facilities   on    each    ward   investigate
               possibilities of field sinks, at least
                     c. enlarge each ward by 3-8 ft section to provide climate
               controlled storage space and treatment areas now identified as
               required
                     d. provision for adequate Nursing Directorate office and
               Command  Education and Training, and Directorates of Medicine and
               Surgery
                     e. provide SOP and Nursing Procedure Manuals for each ward
               area
                     f. revise and update ward floor plans and diagrams
                     g. inclusion of privacy curtains with ward tentage 14 wards
               received none.
                     h. better traction set up,    beds may need to be reengineered.
                     i inclusion of extra canvas bedcovers, 3 split from dry rot
               when tested by patients weight.
                     j. bedboards for orthopedic and neurosurgery patients.


               While there existed a good cooperative level between officer and
               enlisted, some problems did surface and were related to adequacy of
                                                           Mos, would have resolved
               communication and management skills.            I
               favorably with additional       time aid practice.        Many quality
    BCLS recertification was valuable
               and timely    and   demonstrated our need      to have    this  valuable
               equipment available when deployed. Provision of training for night
               shift staff remain difficult if not impossible.

               8. SOCIAL ISSUES

               Clubs, theater, library and other facilities were appreciated and
               valuable.    There exists some desire for an all hands club which
               might be possible on a longer deployment. Liberty restriction were
               generally acceptable when related to security issues .       Improvement
               in quality of food was noted and appreciated.       Suggestion was made
               that a retention team concept might help improve morale.
