          MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD


          SUBJECT:        Tri-Service Task Force to Evaluate the Industrial
          Capability to Produos Anthrax and Botulinum Toxin Vaccines


          1. (U) The Tri-Service Task Force met on 9 Oct 90, 1300-1500
          hours in the Commander's Conference Room. The following is a
          list of  the attendees-

          2.       Anthrax Vaccine

               a.  The Task Force felt that it was imperative that the
          number of people to be vaccinated be provided by OSD(HA)P This
          should include how.many people should be vaccinated CONUT and
          OCONUS at         -.,To                         m

               b. The Task Force needs clarification as to the classifi-
          cation authority and will ask    OSD(RA).
ket survey concerning the capabilities of various
          commercial firms to produce anthrax and botulinum toxin vaccine$
          is underway. The Task Order is to be completed NLT 30 Oct 90.
          Dr. Brandt was tasked to ask the Task Order Contractor to include
          veterinary anthrax vaccine capability, and COL Bancroft was
